Martial Arts has been around for a very long time with many purposes. It had started out as a form of protecting village cropcs from other villages to defending oneself and families, and even as a sport.
Although many think Martial Arts is about FIGHTING, that is NOT what Martial Arts is about.
We have a saying, “We learn to fight, to NOT fight”
Here at Armour Martial Arts, we believe in RESPECT towards all Martial Arts that training is not just physical, but mentally as well. Training our minds to be strong and better prepared for many situations such as life, problem solving, leadership, confidence.
Not only do we develop a community within our school, but we also teach that we can only grow stronger when we nurture each other. As you progress through training, you advance through knowledge and respect towards yourself and others. Nurturing those who have less training thus driving you towards becoming a better LEADER and understanding what it means to becoming a BLACK BELT.
To top it off, Taekwondo is not just a Martial Arts but is a well known Olympic Sport which many Countries around the world are participating and sharing this exciting way of learning.
